Creating a tailor-made suit

Creating a tailor-made suit is a unique process. During your appointment, you and your tailor design a unique suit for you. This process goes from deciding which fabric you would like, to selecting the details such as the buttons. After crafting the design, it will be sent to our atelier. At our atelier, your suit will be made entirely by hand.

Choosing the right fabric is essential. We only work with renowned fabric houses that meet our quality requirements, such as Loro Piana, Scabal and Dormeuil. During the appointment, your tailor will listen to your preferences to provide you with a selection of fabrics. When you travel by bicycle daily, a thin fabric might not be the right option for you. You might want to consider a durable fabric which offers more resistance.

The method of making a tailor-made suit

Our tailor-made suits are made entirely by hand, in the English city of Leeds. Leeds is a well-known city within the fashion industry, because of the many ateliers that are located here. Your fabric is sent from the fabric mills to the atelier. During a timeline of six to eight weeks, the suit is made entirely by hand in our Atelier where innovative production techniques are combined with traditional craftsmanship. At the atelier, the craftsmen start with creating the suit by drawing the pattern and cutting the fabrics.

The atelier in Leeds features the most skilled craftsmen, to carefully create a suit. Various quality controls take place, both at the fabric mills and in the atelier. Only if the suit is completely in order, it is sent to one of our stores. At that moment, it is time to make an appointment for the first fitting of your suit.

The price of a tailor-made suit

The price of the tailor-made suit is mainly determined by the chosen fabric. We work with different fabric houses and different price categories. For this reason, our tailor-made suits range from essentials starting at €699 to more premium options exceeding €2000. You can state: the more exclusive the fabric, the more expensive the suit. On top of that, the method of making the suit plays an important role. A full canvas construction requires more handwork and materials than a half-canvas construction. Therefore, the price of a full canvas suit is higher. When the suit is ready, it might require some minor adjustments by our local tailors. Of course, no additional costs will be charged for this. Do you have a specific budget in mind for your tailor-made suit? Please indicate this to your tailor. Your tailor will show you a range of options suitable for your requirements.
